Beginners
This course can be completed one on one or as a group up to 6.
The basic skills of riding a motorcycle are something that can be learned by virtually everyone. Most of us think it will be like riding a push bike but there are considerably more skills to acquire in order to make the experience a good one.
The training begins with understanding a little theory of riding. This is important to gain a perspective on what is happening. Then, it’s setting up your motorcycle to ‘fit’ you. The reasons why this is so important and how you can make the modifications yourself will be demonstrated.
All riding and skills development will be completed at low speeds to assist you in the road environment you will be riding in.
One of the most important aspects of training is that you don’t learn a skill by being shown then doing it once or twice. The aim of our training is that you will see the benefits immediately and begin to practice them. This way, you will get to a point where you don’t even have to think about what to do, you’ll just react appropriately.
This course is all about learning that helps you to develop confidence in your ability, but not an overconfidence that can get you into trouble.
Scooter riders are welcome and many seem to prefer to do this course on a one-on-one basis. This can be accommodated and provides a more compressed course time wise. Location of these courses is Cronulla. Please call for details.
